Education & Career
Mr. Carter is a graduate of Thurgood Marshall School of Law-Texas Southern University. After graduation,
Mr. Carter began his career as a public servant while working as an Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Attorney General for the State of Texas. Mr. Carter soon established himself as persuasive writer, orator, and trial attorney for the State of Texas as an Assistant Attorney General.
After ending his tenure with the Office of Attorney General for the State of Texas, Mr. Carter launched his career as an Assistant District Attorney for Fort Bend County, Texas. Due to Mr. Carter’s trial accomplishments and successful criminal convictions, he soon established a reputation as a skilled trial attorney.
Mr. Carter has successfully handled and tried over 100 criminal cases to juries throughout Texas and the United States in both federal and state courts. Specifically, Mr. Carter has obtained Not Guilty verdicts from juries in federal court to murders, sexual assaults, drugs, guns, thefts, and assaults juries in state court trials.
